When I composed the piece in 2007, the possibility of streaming a concert, film or piece of music was still in its infancy. I didn’t even have digital “Streaming” in mind when I chose a name for this piece and for the title of the CD. Much more decisive were thoughts about the stream of consciousness, a river or the term “panta rhei”, “everything flows”. The orchestral work "WAVES" later developed from this piece.
