Two and a half minutes of concentrated zest for life. The piece awaits with some echoes of film music and, despite all the lightness conveyed, makes high demands on the performers. The French pianist Paul Beynet created a piano version of the piece, which he performed for the first time in 2014 as part of the festival “1001 Notes” in Southern France.
